CDK Global Announces CEO Appointment

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – July 12, 2022 – CDK Global, Inc., a leading automotive retail software provider, today announced Brian P. MacDonald has been appointed acting President and Chief Executive Officer. MacDonald succeeds Brian Krzanich, who is stepping down.

MacDonald was CDK Global’s President and CEO between 2016 and late 2018, overseeing a transformation effort which created a solid foundation for future growth. Prior to CDK, he served as president and CEO for a diverse set of companies including Hertz and Sunoco.
